If someone did not pass his sake cup to another at a drinking party quickly enough, others would call out, "Hako-nagure (delay in the allotment of tubs or mine-cars)! Oi, kochira ni 'hako' mawase (Hey, pass me your 'tub')!" even at times when they were barely drinking. Pit workers today also sometimes use these words.
Waiting for mine cars for many hours underground because of the delay in the allotment was far harder than waiting long for a sake cup to be passed. However, I feel these quick-witted expressions are amusing.
The comical dance done by the man covering his hair and cheeks with a tenugui (Japanese face towel) was called a kappore which was usually accompanied by a popular song at that time, which goes like this:

Gombe ga tane makya karasu ga sesekuru.
Sando ni ichido wa owazuba narumai.
Zumbera! Zumbera! Zumbera!

Crows peck up the seeds every time Gombe sows them.
He must scare them away once in three times.
Zumbera! Zumbera! Zumbera! (Interjected chants)
