Nichiro Senso de Saisho no Senshisha Kihei Ittosotsu Tadokoro Kiyokuma Shi no Funto
[Brave Fight of a Cavalry Man, Mr. Kiyokuma Tadokoro, Who Was the First Soldier Killed in Action in the Russo-Japanese War]

January 12, 1904, five Japanese scouting cavalrymen fought with 15 Cossack cavalrymen and killed a few of them near Pyongyang in Korea. Tadokoro held the rear to let others carry out their duty as orderly men. I can remember a number of battle-pieces among the pictures used in the show boxes brought to the pits where I lived. However, those pictures were too many in number to replicate all of them. Therefore, I replicated a few of them. However, these paintings are not the same as the ones I saw in the show boxes.
