(1) She said to me, looking into my face:
"Darling, I'm not telling this to you because I'm jealous.
But that colored mark on your cheek
looks very strange to me."
Toko-totoko-toh! (Onomatopoeia of the sound of a bugle)
(2) You are too jealous to say so.
Today was the accounting day of my company.
I was so busy that my cheek got stained
with the red ink from my pen.
Toko-totoko-toh!
(3) However hard you may plead it was just ink,
I can see the truth because I'm a woman.
I'm not a stupid woman who can't see
you are having an affair.
Toko-totoko-toh!
(4) Are you going to keep arguing with me?
That girl was with another man and
he said he was your ex-boyfriend.
I must be jealous of you if it's true.
Toko-tottoko-toh!
(5) Stop retorting like that, and admit your fault like a man!
Say that you were just fooling around.
And I'll forgive you.
Toko-tottoko-toh!

This is the end of the "Rappa Bushi" song series.
