On the platform (suradana) with almost the same height as the top of the mine car, the helper dumped the coal sled (sura), which she pulled down to the level through a steep haulage way and directly transferred the coal in the sled into the mine car.

Hige o hayashite kane no tsue tsuite.
"Kogashira-san!" to iya "Oii?" to nukasu.
Dokkoi! Dokkoi!

The underground boss wears a mustache and walks with a metal stick.
He replies, "Yes?" when I call out, "Kogashira-san (Boss)!"
Dokkoi! Dokkoi! (Interjected chants)
