Migi ni kantera hidari ni bento.
Kata wa karui to o-cha ni game.

She is holding a lamp (kantera) in her right hand and a packed lunch in her left.
All the while she is shouldering a towing rope (karui) and a canteen (game) filled with green tea.

Sama chan wa ichiban washa niban gata.
Agari sagari de miru bakari.
Gotton! Dokkoi! Dokkoi!

My sweetheart works first shift and I work second shift.
And I can only see him/her, ascending the slope when I am descending it.
Gotton (Clang)! Dokkoi! Dokkoi! (Interjected chants)
