Girls played this game with a rubber or hand-made ball. The hitter did not use a bat and she ran after hitting the ball thrown by the pitcher with her hand. Only one base was used except for home and the fielders threw the ball they caught at the runner herself to get her out. It was only about 10 meters from the home plate to the base.
