21.2 x 30.3 cm Ink Painting

Lyrics of "Gotton Bushi" Song
Iyo no kanayama kane fuku oto wa
kikoemasu zo e Matsuyama ni.
Dokkoi! Dokkoi!

The sound of bellows at the copper mine in Iyo
can be heard in the faraway town of Matsuyama.
Dokkoi! Dokkoi! (Interjected chants)

The long ear-pick-shaped stick for scraping out cuttings was called a kyuren.
